==============================================================================================================

Ley grows ever stronger and unleashes her great demonic powers as the Dark Matriarch, granting her new powers of destructive force and with her loyal butler and minion, Jeeves, at her side. Once obtained, the Dark Matriarch makes regular combat less of a chore for Ley and provides some really effective attack skills compared to her preceding classes.

Her new skill, Real Dark, allows her to excel greatly in some vertically aligned dungeon maps, due to the ease it eradicates it's targets with, thanks to it's infinite vertical blast range. Also the new melee option for combat allows her to fight on equal footing with her enemies, without being cumbered from shooting spheres and it's long recovery time.

Dodge:
  • Type: Teleport
  • With the aggression levels of enemies now, Ley is one hard-pressed combatant because as Summoner, she lacks pressuring factors against the enemy like hit-stun, poor crowd control. Armed only with an unwieldy combo of sorts, a lone Ley will require a lot of patience in combat.
  • Dark Matriarch brings in some very awesome combat options for Ley, allowing her to attack more swiftly and respond quicker against counters. The same evasion principles still apply, but you'll probably have an easier time with the Matriarch's powers.

Notes:
  • Despite the new combo attack option, Ley is still too slow to handle too many enemies at once go, go for knockdowns whenever you can and let your summons/skills do the work. Enemies that don't resist will also keep your summons alive longer.
  • With Creature Buff in effect, Haunt, along with his Dark Red curse attack can be a useful summon for his critical increase. Since it doesn't matter if he is defeated or not, it is a good AP expenditure for a 1 minute buff. And with Dark Red, he can inflict decreased defense on his enemies for a good 30%.

Skill Tree Setup: Passives

Combo Attack Lv2
Gives Ley a new combo which focuses on melee attacks. Hits faster and more consistently than the original range attacks.

Advanced Combo
During a combo, Ley drives a burst of energy from the ground up onto the enemy's feet, launching them up when struck.

Advanced Jump
An attack in mid-air which Ley quickly dives down and crashes with a burst of energy around her.

Advanced Dash
Allows Ley to hover dash right after a teleport move, improving her mobility greatly.

Skill Tree Setup: Actives

Summoner Side

Jeeves (53 AP)
  • Type: Summon
  • Jeeves- Ley's loyal butler and final summon. Jeeves, like Bastion is a ground summon and has action commands in which he can perform special techniques of his own. Jeeves is a more powerful fighter and dishes out stronger attacks. However, due to his size, he is easily struck and brought down faster than Bastion would.
  • Jeeves Movement Speed: Increases Jeeves' moving speed.
  • Jeeves Time Extension:For some reason, no change in the summon time. Remains at 40 seconds.
  • Raze: A command for Jeeves to release a shockwave that repels enemies. Jeeves will use this move at where he stands.
  • Nightfall: A command for Jeeves to appear from above and throw a drop punch.
  • Eradicate: A command for Jeeves to battle-ram his enemies away.
  • Destructor: An automatically triggered melee attack with a stronger punch and damage. No "silence" effect on monsters.
Fun Fact: If Jeeves is currently on the field as a summon, the "Jeeves" that appears during Jeeves' Etiquette and Jeeves' Powerbomb will wear a paper bag over it's head.

-Jeeves Approves-

Note: Rules of summoning - You will notice by now there are 2 flying summons and two ground summons. At no time can you summon 2 of the same group. eg-
  • Garouille & Haunt, Bastion & Jeeves, cannot be summoned as a pair together. At any one time, only an air and ground pairing can be allowed to exist together.
  • If you do so, the previous summon of the similar type simply dies off and the fresh summon replaces it's position.

Effects:
Creature Buff
When a minion is summoned, a certain respective buff is applied for 60 seconds.
  • Garouille: Defense Buff
  • Bastion: Attack Buff
  • Haunt: Critical Buff
  • Jeeves: HP Recovery Buff
All 4 buffs can be attained by cycling through all 4 summons (albeit you can only retain 2 summons eventually) Even when a summon is defeated, the buff remains active until it expires.

Creature MP Cost Reduction
Reduces cost of summoning a minion by 25%. Reduction is only factored in after summoning, not by lowering the required cost.

Random Summon
Upon game start only, a random summon is chosen. The effects from Creature Buff also applies automatically.

Demonic Side

Dark Flame (16 AP)
  • Type: Projectile
  • Range: Mid
  • Damage: Burst
  • Ley tosses a flaming projectile that brushes past enemies and explodes after a short distance.
  • This attack deals very low damage.
  • This is a technique, has no delay.

Dark Luminous (26 AP)
  • Type: Splash
  • Range: Short
  • Damage: Multi
  • Animation: Short
  • Ley summons a bunch of bats which attacks enemies at their feet around her. The bats will attack on both sides.

Netherwind (26 AP)
  • Type: Melee Combo, Linear
  • Range: Short
  • Damage: Multi
  • Animation: Short
  • Like a ballerina, Ley "waltzes " across her enemies in spinning kicks as she leaps over them, dealing a couple of hits.
  • It is easy to miss if used against low-bodied enemies, as she will simply skip past them.

Flawless Attack (53 AP)
  • Type: Projectile, Linear
  • Range: Mid
  • Damage: Multi
  • Animation: Long
  • Jeeves and an "impostor" butler appears on both sides of her enemy and throws a two-sided punch rush then dealing double uppercuts to send the enemy flying into the air.

Half Moon (53 AP)
  • Type: Pierce, Linear, One-Shot
  • Range: Mid
  • Damage: Burst
  • Animation: Short
  • Ley wraps herself in her demonic energy and dives straight across her enemies.
  • The attack hits once, with high damage dealt.

Real Dark (83 AP)
  • Type: Projectile, Splash
  • Range: Vertical
  • Damage: Multi
  • Animation: Long
  • Ley summons the demon "Torres" from above her which fires a vertical beam down onto her enemies.
  • The beam has infinite vertical range, and appears 2 platforms above Ley. Some good positioning will maximize it's attack range.
  • Real Dark can no longer trigger Hellspears.
Trivia: At this point, it is still uncertain if "Taurus" and "Torres" are the same entity, if only differing by name spelling while sounding similar. Torres in [Real Dark] appears as a dragon-like creature, while Taurus that appears as a giant leg in [Grim Hand] is also described with similarity as a dragon, in Ley's dialogue during the Berkas Lair raids when comparing it to Berkas itself.

It's a fascinating tidbit but we'll probably never know it's/their true identity.

Havoc (83 AP)
  • Type: AoE: Medium, Impact
  • Range: Mid
  • Damage: Multi
  • Animation: Long
  • Ley sets off her demonic energy and lightning storms around her to attack her enemies, dealing fast periodic damage until she detonates all that energy and sends them flying off.
  • Despite the flashy animation, it's hit range is only medium and doesn't touch the entire screen.

On Target (130 AP)
  • Type: Lock-On
  • Range: Long
  • Damage: Multi
  • Animation: Long
  • Ley summons a powerful demonic entity which tracks targets at will and fires a pair of energy spheres rapidly at them.
  • The "Eye" lasts for 15 seconds upon materializing itself (not after activation) and will pick either 1 or 2 targets on it's own accord- but it is never always the nearest targets first.
  • Once a target is acquired, it will fire continuously at the same target(s) until it is defeated.
  • Two spheres are fired at every instance, one has a much higher speed than the other, but they deal the same damage rate.
  • The Eye's body will also damage anything that touches it. Effectively, it can be cast on very tough targets to wear them down further from the extra damage.
  • On-Target has taken a severe damage reduction.
