Striker excels in blitz attacks, as his name might imply. His style is focused on power and evasion, speed being a secondary characteristic for movement, as his attacks are actually slow to connect. Although not as agile as the Thief is, his ability to attack and fade away, only to begin another barrage of attacks proves effective for his combat tactics, as he used to only have one escape mechanism. After the *cough*, horrors that are Assassin & Dark Assassin, Striker brings back some semblance of power to Lass' form.

Dodge:
  • Type: Smokebomb (Ground)
  • The agile Lass has his own set of evasion techniques but the Dodge move is a welcome to his other less agile classes.
  • Especially useful if you overextend into his combo which locks Striker on the ground, in which his shadow attack also becomes unusable. Dodge provides an option to evade should this happen.
Inherent Techniques:
  • Shadow Attack (Z↑ during main combo)
  • Lass disappears and reappears above his enemy, coming down with an opportune slash attack.
  • Unusable once he initiates his 3rd attack of the main combo.

Notes:
  • Striker's dash attack can now be used with his Switch evasive after the combos.
  • Striker jumps lower than most characters. Especially so after dashing.
  • Like the Battle Mage, Striker's jump attacks will slip through the platform if he is on a descent. This does not happen for ascending attacks, like a jump
  • Shadow Vanish is perfect for setting up a back Quick Slash to your enemies. However this may put you in the wrong direction of attack, as a side effect.

Skill Tree Setup:

Invisible: Shadow Vanish
Lass becomes invisible to enemy sight for 20 seconds. Invisibility remains as long as Lass does not connect an attack. Activating other shared skills and skills that hit nothing and even taking a hit will not affect the invisibility status. This technique is perfect for setting up a back attack with skills. 15 second cooldown.

Buff: Dash
For 10 seconds, Lass gains a burst of speed that improves his dashing and walking speed. 10 second cooldown. Striker benefits with sped up dashes, albeit not a lot.

Jump: Super Jump
An arcing high jump that brings you up 2 platforms higher. You are able to attack in your path of flight. 10 second cooldown.

Skill Setup:

Tier 1:

Rage Cutter
  • Type: Pierce
  • Range: Short
  • Damage: Burst
  • Animation: Short - Long
  • Strikes once before a pierce-through slash.
  • Very useful for displacing Striker's position.
  • Skill delay becomes longer if reused within a short time.

Tier 2:

Phantom Blade
  • Type: Splash
  • Range: Mid
  • Damage: Multi
  • Animation: Long
  • Attacks with slashes at blazing speed, finishing with a final knockback slash.

Tier 3:

Blade Spirit
  • Type: Impact
  • Range: Mid
  • Damage: Burst
  • Animation: Long
  • Striker charges up his Nodachi with spirit energy, which increases his blade range and power and executing a combo with 3 heavy slash attacks.
  • Blade Spirit is sometimes ineffective against smaller monsters due to the way the sword knocks down out of reach, but is otherwise ok on other kinds of enemies.
  • The first two strokes knocks enemies into the air, the last one knocks them away.

Tier 4:

Quick Slash
  • Type: Linear, One-Shot
  • Range: Horizontal, Wide
  • Damage: Burst
  • Animation: Short
  • Striker flashes across the screen in one stroke, dealing extreme damage to enemies caught in his path of attack.
  • This attack travels far but does not have infinite range. However as per design of most stage maps, this is rarely an issue.
  • Has a diagonal angle of ascent.
