Unlike her counterparts, Warlock only has a single set of skills at her disposal, inclined towards the use of elemental "spirits" more than magic. Warlock's style of attack makes physical attacks almost a non-option in practical combat. But once again, in the hands of an experienced user, physical attacks can be a very viable alternative than to using her spirit attacks.

Dodge:
  • Type: Teleport Dash
  • A mage like Arme definitely welcomes an evasion move, as her attacks often leave her stranded and unable to evade quickly enough.
  • Finally, a solution to get out of those "I rubbed the lamp and now I can't evade!" moments.
  • Really. Anyone can deny it but it causes a lot of stupid deathblows to Arme.
Inherent Techniques:
  • None



Otto:
  • Has limited range as the weapon is short by nature.
  • Hits surprisingly hard for a physical attack of her nature.
  • Sustainability: Easy
Notes:
  • Warlock now is able to regenerate MP by standing still.
  • Greater Ice spirit attack can now freeze enemies.
  • Lesser Ice spirit cannot hit enemies on the same level as she is, unless they have a very tall sprite.
  • Lesser Fire spirit cannot hit low-bodied enemies, even those that have fallen down. (However they become vulnerable again once their recovery animation begins)
  • ^ They made it worst, it now only hits once. Making it as good as useless for regular use. I hope you all learnt to otto or something.

Skill Tree Setup:


Dash: Teleport Speed Up
Increases the initial acceleration of the teleport, giving a burst of speed.

Utilizing Dash 1: Vertical Teleport
Allows vertical teleportation to avoid attacks during a jump, not as effective as the horizontal ones.

Utilizing Dash 2: Teleport Control
Allows a moment to back-dash away from oncoming danger by tapping the opposite direction keys. The back dash distance is much shorter.

Special Skill 1: Soul Sacrifice
Double tapping the "X" key allows you to convert 20% of your HP into MP. Arme cannot use Soul Sacrifice if her MP gauge is full or she is already in fatal status. Soul Sacrifice still works even if you have less than 20% HP to offer.

Special Skill 2: Mental Recovery
You won't get enough arrows in dungeons to trigger this.

Skill Setup:


Tier 1:

Tornado
  • Type: Linear, Projectile
  • Range: Long
  • Damage: Multi
  • Animation: Short
  • Summons the Wind spirit to cast a tornado which moves across in a line, hitting and pushing back enemies slightly as it hits.
  • Despite the height of the tornado's sprite, it only has 1.5x range in vertical platform height.


Tier 2:

Fire Ring
  • Type: Self
  • Range: Nil
  • Damage: Nil
  • Animation: Short
  • Summons the Fire spirit to cast a defensive aura on Arme, reducing damage taken by a good 60%.
  • The protection lasts for 15seconds.


Tier 3:

Blizzard
  • Type: AoE
  • Range: Wide
  • Damage: Multi
  • Animation: Short
  • Summons the Ice spirit to cast a freezing blizzard to her enemies below or level with Arme.
  • ^ As such, if an enemy jumps up or Arme accidentally falls off to a lower platform due to her moving animation, the range becomes affected and follows Arme's new location.
  • Blizzard pretty much strikes anything on the screen lengthwise, but has a vertical range of 3 platforms only.


Tier 4:

Chained Rush
  • Type: AoE: Large, Freeze
  • Range: Wide
  • Damage: Multi
  • Animation: Long
  • Summons a trinity combo of her spirits, with Wind, Fire and Ice appearing in this order.
  • This order is not important in dungeons as the only important result is that surviving enemies come out frozen, otherwise dead.
  • The projected range of this skill is approximately a square, by 4x4 in platform lengths and heights.
